True Love

Lo so, è un'eternità che non mi diletto a scrivere un post e a condividere con voi gioie e dolori di un 'addicted' di serie tv, ma  in questi giorni ho sentito vivo in me il desiderio di parlare di una nuova serie che mi ha completamente frastornata e soggiogata. Ovviamente parlo di True Detective.
Innanzitutto, e cosa non da poco, ho scoperto un nuovo attore: Matthew Mcconaughey.
Ma dov'è che era finora? Cioè, ha scoperto solo a più di 40 anni di saper recitare così?
Interpreta il ruolo di Rust in un modo così viscerale che ti inquieta solo a guardarlo in faccia.
Con questo accento texano che in altre circostanze sarebbe irritante e fastidioso e questa fisicità e gestualità che lo guardi e pensi: perfetto. Non ti viene altra parola in mente.
Niente da recriminare anche a Woody Harrelson, ma lui è sempre stato un attore interessante con ruoli cazzuti e difficili alle spalle, quindi nel suo caso non c'è sorpresa.
A due attori così aggiungiamo una storia costruita con flashback (che io tendenzialmente apprezzo), una piano sequenza di quasi 6 minuti senza stacchi, una fotografia fredda che rende appieno il senso di vuoto dei personaggi e dei luoghi con panoramiche su paesaggi paludosi e desolanti, la colonna sonora, la sigla. Voglio dire è una serie impossibile da non apprezzare, che ti tiene incollata lì, che non ce la fai ad aspettare una settimana per vedere un'altra puntata. Purtroppo solo 8 episodi ma anche questa scelta è azzeccata.
Insomma HBO  non sbaglia un colpo e anche questa serie farà storia e magari cambierà qualcosa, come fecero Six feet under e I Soprano ai loro tempi.
Ah, ovviamente per me è la miglior serie dell'anno.Ce ne vorrà per batterla!

I know. It's a long time I do not write a post but I've to write absolutely something about new summer tv shows!I cannot leave you alone!
So,here a list:
Graceland: nice product but the true is: I expected more!
The Fosters: my new favourite family drama show.Two lesbian mums with a lot of kids!
Under the dome: I guess they would like to create a show like Lost. It does not happens.At all! (Except for the the cow's scene)
King&Maxwell: a couple of private detectives.A lady and a man. Nothing new, except for Edgar,intersting character and great actor.
Dates: english tv show. Every episode it's a first difficult date between two partners.Very nice mostly cause is more drama than comedy.
Motive: canadian tv show.When did they start to make these nice shows? It's a crime drama, but different than usual.We know from the beginning who is the victim and who is the killer,but we don't know the motive...
Orange is the new black: Netfix does not miss a beat!
Ray Donovan: I did not know very well this actor, Liev Schreiber. He is amazing!And his voice..
Mistresses: useless!

PS:
The Fall: only five episode. IT'S JUST PERFECT! Nothing else.

[Lo so.E' un sacco di tempo che non scrivo un post ma devo scrivere assolutamente qualcosa sulle nuove serie estive!Non posso lasciarvi soli!
Quindi ecco una lista:
Graceland: prodotto carino ma la verità è che mi aspettavo di più!

Under the dome: immagino volessero fare una serie tipo Lost. Non è successo. Per niente! (Eccetto per la scena della mucca.)
King&Maxwell: una coppia di detective privati. Una donna e un uomo,niente di nuovo. Eccetto per Edgar,bel personaggio e bravo l'attore.
Dates: serie inglese.Ogni episodio è un primo difficile appuntamento tra due partner.Molto carina soprattutto perchè è drammatica e non comica.
Motive:serie tv canadese.Ma quando hanno iniziato a fare queste serie interessanti?é un poliziesco ma è diverso dal solito.Sappiamo dall'inizio chi è la vittima e chi il carnefice,ma non sappiamo il movente...
Orange is the new black: Netfix non sbaglia un colpo!
Ray Donovan: Non conoscevo molto bene questo attore, Liev Schreiber.E' straordinario!E che voce...
Mistresses: l'inutilità!

...THE BIG BANG THEORY

Do you remember the tv show "Blossom"?
The main character was a teenager in the 90s. Then Mayim Bialik has disappeared until now, or 2 years ago exactly, to appear again with this amazing character: Amy Farrah Fowler, Sheldon Cooper's girlfriend in the best sitcom of the last few years, The big bang theory obviously!
She is a nerd scientist who have an engagement contract with Sheldon cause both of them have issues with personal relationships and in general with people.
Compared to her first episodes,we have seen her turn in a girl with sexual desires (strong sexual desires!) and sometimes her relationship with Penny, her new best friend, the first she has ever had, it's more fun to see than the funny questions with Sheldon.
I can't wait to see how this character will develop!

Un'ultima cosa: penso che potrebbe essere la miglior serie del 2013.

The begin of medical dramas...

...ER - EMERGENCY ROOM

It's time to write about an historical tv series. It was not just a tv show which aired for 15 seasons, it was the first medical drama which showed us the reality inside a Chicago's hospital: the surgical operations, the blood, the flesh, the pain. I'm talking about ER - Emergency Room, obviously. The famous writer Michael Crichton had the idea to set a show in an emergency room and he changed the tv series, he changed the way to make television. In fact the number of winning awards or even only the nominations from Golden Globe to Emmy Award is incredible!

Most of the scenes are set inside the hospital even if we follow the characters in their private lives outside it, but actually their lives are inside those walls. In 15 seasons a lot of characters has been passed in front of our eyes: someone is dead, someone else has just left, someone has been useless. It's very difficult to remember everyone but there are some special characters: Dr Mark Green, at the first an amazing father and husband until the divorce, then a playboy, then father and husband again, but first of all a great doctor, the kind of doctor everyone would like to have nearby; the nurse Carol Hathaway, we meet her the first time after an attempt of suicide cause the love of her life, and we love her istantly because she is a woman in charge, passionate but also insecure who will be more strong season after season; Dr Doug Ross, it's impossible to forget George Clooney who performs a pediatrician who does everything for his baby patients even if he is an asshole; Dr John Carter, a potential surgeon who decides to work in the ER for passion, for desire to stay closer to the patients. I know, all these characters (except Carter) have left the show after 6-7 seasons, but they were the best for me. The episodes that I remember more are: when Mark dies (I've cried like a baby!); when Carol leaves Chicago to rejoin Doug (it's impossible to forget Clooney with blonde hair!); when Carter is hurt in the ER and also his period in Africa; the episode filmed as if it were a reality show and Dr Romano and the helicopter. There are other episodes and other wonderful characters in 15 seasons, like Susan or Luka or Abby or Dr Weawer with her crutch or Neela, but I think that the first seasons are unforgettable. I remember yet the disgust felt to see some scenes but the inability to turn off the tv or to change the tv channel. So, thank you ER!... also because without you Grey's anatomy would not exist.

[E' giunto il momento di scrivere di una storica serie tv.Non è stato solo uno show durato ben 15 stagioni, è stato il primo show sui medici che ci mostrava la realtà all'interno di un ospedale di Chicago: le operazioni chirurgiche, il sangue, la carne, il dolore. Parlo di ER - Medici in prima linea ovviamente.Il famoso scrittoe Michael Crichton ebbe l'idea di ambientare una serie nel pronto soccorso di un ospedale e cambiò le serie tv, cambiò il modo di fare televisione. Tant'è che il numero di premi vinti o di nomination dai Golden Globe agli Emmy Award è incredibile!La maggiorparte delle scene è girata all'interno dell'ospedale anche se seguiamo i personaggi nelle loro vite private fuori da lì, ma la verità è che le loro vite sono dentro quelle mura.In 15 stagioni molti personaggi sono passati di fronte ai nostri occhi:qualcuno è morto, qualcuno se ne è andato, qualcuno è stato inutile.E' molto difficile ricordarli tutti ma ce n'erano alcuni speciali: Dr Mark Green, all'inizio marito e padre fantastico fino al divorzio, poi playboy,poi di nuovo padre e marito,ma soprattutto un grande dottore, del tipo che ognuno di noi vorrebbe avere al suo fianco; l'infermiera Carol Hathaway,la incontriamo la prima volta dopo un tentativo di suicidio a causa dell'amore della sua vita e la amiamo da subito perchè è una donna al comando,appassionata ma anche insicura che diventerà più forte stagione dopo stagione;Dr Doug Ross, impossibile dimenticare George Clooney che interpreta un pediatra che fa di tutto per i suoi piccoli pazienti anche se è uno stronzo;Dr Jonh Carter,un potenziale chirurgo che decide di lavorare in pronto soccorso per passione, per desiderio di stare più vicino ai pazienti.Lo so, tutti questi personaggi,eccetto Carter,hanno lasciato lo show dopo 6-7 stagioni,ma per me sono stati i migliori.Gli episodi che ricordo di pìù sono quando muore Mark (ho pianto come una bambina!);quando Carol lascia Chicago e si ricongiunge con Doug(Clooney coi capelli biondi è impossibile da dimenticare!);quando Carter è stato ferito nel pronto soccorso e anche il suo periodo in Africa; l'episodio girato come un reality show, in digitale, e il Dr Romano e l'elicottero.Ci sono molti altri episodi e molti altri personaggi in 15 stagioni, come Susan o Luka o Abby o la Dott.ssa Weawer con la sua stampella o Neela, ma penso che le prime stagioni siano quelle indimenticabili.Ricordo ancora la sensazione di disgusto nel vedere alcune scene ma l'incapacità di spegnere la tv o di cambiare canale.Quindi grazie ER!...anche perchè senza di te non sarebbe esistito Grey's Anatomy.

Gossip Girl is over!

This post is both a "we don't like"/"we like".
Mostly it is a "we don't like", I was really disgusted by the last two seasons of Gossip Girl.
But in the end... I couldn't help but like something!
And you? What do you think of GG finale? Let me know please.
Here my opinion:

 

...GOSSIP GIRL season 6

Finally it‘s over.
It was really hard to keep on watching it during the last two years.. but I‘m not able to quit a tv series since I‘ve started it.
In the meanwhile it was not a tv series anymore... it became a soap opera. No, I‘m not kidding.. I have proofs.
Gossip girl had the 4 famous elements that are necessary for a real soap opera:
1) (and most important) Someone who was believed dead was secretly alive.
2) The fake niece of a woman is secretly scheming against her and having a secret relationship with the woman's last ex husband but only for revenge because she is actually in love with the previous ex husband (even tough he is not truly in love with the fake niece because he is only using her to reach his ex wife)... and in the meanwhile the woman is married again with another ex husband.....
[If you didn‘t understand anything don‘t worry.. you are normal. Too many ex husbands.]
3) The teenage daughter of a girl‘s fiancée is now having a relationship with the ex boyfriend of that girl.. and they all seem to be same age.. (PLUS: the girl discovers that her fiancée had a sex affair with her own mother).
4) Someone who has never studied anything about fashion inherited her mother‘s atelier and became a successfull fashion designer in a few months.
If you have all these characteristics you can have a very intriguing (and totally unbelievable of course) soap opera. But you were not the tv series we loved anymore......
Too many schemes... and always the same stories... or these absurdities that are really unbearable... 

If I have to choose one word it would be RIDICULOUS.

I‘m sorry but will not miss GG after the last two seasons.

 

..BUT.........

...GOSSIP GIRL finale

So far I wrote what I was thinking during season 6, but when I saw the last episode... ...well, I have to admit that in the end I liked it!
Of course the marriages of Chuck and Blair and of Dan and Serena were predicted (but they were right.. at this point I pretended those marriages), and I prefer not to comment the story of Bart Bass.... (I already wrote RIDICULOUS), and you can criticize everything... but.. in the end....

..we find out that Gossip Girl is Dan Humphrey!!

well, I loved it!! I was totally surprised and I admit that it really makes sense.

So I enjoyed at least the last 10 minutes! :-)

(And there's another thing that I really liked... Serena golden wedding dress by Georges Chakra!

It was the perfect last outfit for this tv series.)

[Questo post è entrambi "we don't like"/ "we like".

Principalmente è un "we don't like", sono stata davvero disgustata dalle ultime due stagioni di Gossip Girl.

Ma alla fine.. non ho potuto fare a meno di apprezzare qualcosa!

E voi? Cosa pensate del finale di GG? Fatemi sapere.

Questa è la mia opinione:

...GOSSIP GIRL stagione 6

Finalmente è finita. E' stata davvero dura continuare a guardarla durante gli ultimi 2 anni.. ma non sono capace di abbandonare una serie tv dopo averla iniziata.

Nel frattempo non era più una serie tv. E' diventata una soap opera. No, non sto scherzando.. Ho le prove.

Gossip Girl ha avuto i 4 famosi elementi che sono necessari per una soap opera:

1) (e più importante) Qualcuno che era ritenuto morto era segretamente vivo.

2) La falsa nipote di una donna sta segretamente complottando contro di lei e sta avendo una relazione segreta con l'ultimo ex marito della donna, ma solo per vendetta perchè in realtà è innamorata del precedente ex marito della donna (anche se lui non è veramente innamorato della falsa nipote perchè la sta solo usando per arrivare alla sua ex moglie)... e nel frattempo la donna è di nuovo sposata con un altro ex marito...

[Se non avete capito niente non preoccupatevi.. siete normali. Troppi ex mariti.]

3) La figlia adolescente del fidanzato di una ragazza ha ora una relazione con l'ex di questa ragazza.. e dimostrano tutti la stessa età.. (PLUS: la ragazza scopre che il suo fidanzato ha avuto un'avventura con sua mamma)

4) Qualcuno che non ha mai studiato nel campo della moda eredita l'atelier della madre e diventa una stilista di successo in pochi mesi.

Se avete tutte queste caratteristiche siete una soap opera molto intrigante (e totalmente inverosimile ovviamente). Ma non siete più la serie tv che amavamo......

Troppi complotti... e sempre le stesse storie... o queste assurdità che sono davvero insopportabili...

Se dovessi scegliere una parola sarebbe RIDICOLO.

Mi spiace ma non ci mancherà Gossip Girl dopo le ultime 2 stagioni.

...GOSSIP GIRL finale

Finora ho scritto cosa pensavo durante la sesta stagione, ma quando ho visto l'ultimo episodio...

..bè, devo ammettere che alla fine mi è piaciuto!

Ovviamente i matrimoni di Chuck e Blair e di Dan e Serena erano scontati (ma avevano ragione.. a questo punto pretendevo questi matrimoni!), e preferirei non commentare la storia di Bart Bass... (ho già scritto RIDICOLO), e potete criticare tutto... ma.. alla fine...

...scopriamo che Gossip Girl è Dan Humphrey!!

L'ho adorato!! E' stata una totale sorpresa e ammetto che ha senso.

Quindi mi sono goduta almeno gli ultimi 10 minuti!! ;-)

(E c'è un'altra cosa che mi è piaciuta davvero: il vestito da sposa dorato di Serena di George Chakra!

E' stato l'outfit finale perfetto per questa serie.)

I believe you

...HOMELAND season 2 finale

Homeland season 2 just ended and we are really looking forward to next season!!!!
Last episode was amazing, even more than usual!
It was very difficult to imagine a conclusion to this season mostly after Abu Nazir's death.. but the authors had a plan we didn't imagine!
It was complicated also to create a final which was not just connected to the love story. And they did that! They are genius and they can teach how to make good television.

Maybe the attack at Langley was too much (we doubt that it could be really possible to enter in the CIA area with a car full of C4...) but the episode was perfect!
We were not huge fans of the love story between Carrie and Brody, but now... we can't help loving this couple!
We are sure that in season 3 Carrie will find a way to balance love and career and we are also sure that season 3 will be incredible.
The only problem is.. How can we wait until september 2013??????

[La seconda stagione di Homeland è appena finita e noi non vediamo l'ora che inizi la terza!!!!

L'ultimo episodio è stato stupendo, anche più del solito!

Era davvero difficile immaginare una conclusione a questa stagione soprattutto dopo la morte di Abu Nazir.. ma gli autori avevano un piano che noi non immaginavamo!

Era anche complicato creare un finale che non era collegato solo alla storia d'amore. Ma l'hanno fatto! Sono dei geni e possono insegnare come fare buona televisione.

Magari l'attentato a Langley era un po' troppo (dubitiamo che sarebbe davvero possibile entrare nell'area della CIA con una macchina piena di C4...) ma l'episodio era perfetto!

Noi non eravamo grandi fan della storia tra Carrie e Brody, ma ora... non possiamo fare a meno di amare questa coppi!

Siamo sicure che nella terza stagione Carrie troverà un modo per conciliare amore e lavoro e siamo anche sicure che la terza stagione sarà incredibile.

L'unico problema è.. Come riusciamo ad aspettare fino a settembre 2013??????

L O S T

 

...LOST

We have been owning this blog for a few months and the first post we had thougth to write was about Lost. But each time we decided to do it we met a huge problem: everyone in this world who have seen this wonderful tv series has already written something about it. Everyone has left at least a comment in a forum or in a facebook page. Everyone has a specific theory about the beginning and mostly about the end. Everyone thinks to be right. Most of all a lot of people don't accept this show is finished. So the question is: what can we tell more than everyone in the world?
The answer is very simple: nothing! We can tell nothing more. But we can tell why we have loved Lost so much.
First af all the plot was certainly the best ever. There were all the elements that can keep us stuck in front of the tv for hours and hours. The supernatural was present but not in an excessive way. Love stories were really involving even if they were only a minimal part of the show. (even if it's impossible not to be a fan of Jack&Kate or Sawyer&Kate!)
Then there were the characters: there weren't a few main characters, but A LOT of interesting characters, everyone for different reasons. Each of them fascinated us. Both the good ones and the bad ones. Both the long-lasting characters and the ones that appeared for a few episodes.
The location was perfect too: we loved those brilliant greens from Hawaii islands.
And something we really appreciated was that the deaths of the characters were not dued to contracts or other economic issues (as it often happens) and we think this contributed to its success too.
It's also interesting that this tv series was meant to be only one season long, but because of the huge success the producers and ABC decided to give a chance to Lost. For this reason the last season is not perfect and a lot of fans didn't like it very much, a lot of people were disappointed. Mostly because all the great ideas that we have seen during 5 seasons have had an explanation in the 6th season. In only 13 episodes they gave us the reason of 98 episodes.
But our opinion is that we liked the last season too, we think it was impossible to make every fan happy cause everyone has a different idea of how this tv series had to end. We think they have choosen the only possible ending.
We loved Lost and we miss it a lot!!

[Abbiamo questo blog da alcuni mesi e il primo post che abbiamo pensato di scrivere era su Lost. Ma ogni volta che decidevamo di farlo incontravamo un grosso problema: tutti quelli che al mondo hanno visto questa meravigliosa serie tv hanno scritto qualcosa in merito. Ognuno ha lasciato almeno un commento su un forum o su una pagina facebook. Ognuno ha una specifica teoria sull'inizio e soprattutto sulla fine. Ognuno pensa di aver ragione. Soprattutto un sacco di persone non accettano che questa show sia finito. Quindi la domanda è: cosa possiamo dire noi più di tutte le altre persone al mondo? La risposta è molto semplice: niente! Non possiamo dier niente di più. Ma possiamo dire perchè abbiamo amato Lost così tanto.

Innanzitutto la trama era di sicuro la migliore di sempre. C'erano tutti gli elementi per tenerci incollate alla tv per ore e ore. Il soprannaturale era presente ma non in maniera eccessiva. Le storie d'amore erano davvero coinvolgenti anche se erano solo una minima parte dello show. (anche se è impossibile non essere un fan di Jack&Kate o Sawyer&Kate!)

Poi c'erano i personaggi: non c'erano alcuni personaggi principali ma UN SACCO di personaggi interessanti, ciascuno per diverse ragioni. Ognuno di essi ci ha affascinato. Sia i buoni che i cattivi. Sia i personaggi di lunga durata che quelli che sono apparsi per pochi episodi.

Anche la location era perfetta: abbiamo adorato quei verdi brillanti delle isole Hawaii.

E un'altra cosa che abbiamo davvero apprezzato è stata che le morti dei personaggi non sono state dovute a contratti o altre ragioni economiche (come spesso accade) e pensiamo che anche questo abbia contribuito al suo successo.

E' anche interessante che questa serie doveva durare solo una stagione, ma a causa dell'enorme successo i produttori e la ABC decisero di dare una chance a Lost. Per questo motivo l'ultima stagione non è perfetta e un sacco di fans non l'hanno apprezzata moltissimo, molte persone sono state deluse. Soprattutto perchè tutte le grandi idee che abbiamo visto durante 5 stagioni hanno avuto una spiegazione nella sesta stagione. In solo 13 episodi ci hanno dato il perchè di 98 episodi.

Ma a noi è piaciuta anche l'ultima stagione e pensiamo che fosse impossibile fare felice ogni fan perchè ognuno ha una diversa idea di come dovesse finire questa serie. Noi pensiamo che abbiano scelta l'unico finale possibile.

Noi abbiamo amato Lost e ci manca tantissimo!!

There is no place like home

...HOMELAND

I've made a terrible mistake in the last post. I've forgotten a very important tv series premiere and for this reason I've decided to write a post only for it.

The show I'm talking about is Homeland and it deserves all of my attention and care. It's about spying, terrorism, Cia, duty, honor, family. It's difficult to write about it 'cause I don't want to say too much and mostly I don't want to make spoilers. But what I can say is that the 2 actors who perform the main charachters, Claire Danes and Damian Lewis, are irreplaceable and it's not a case if they have taken off the title to Mad Men at the Emmy Awards this year. [Ho commesso un terribile errore nell'ultimo post,ho dimenticato la premiere di una serie tv molto importante e per questo motivo ho deciso di scrivere un post solo di essa. Lo show di cui parlo è Homeland e merita tutta la mia attenzione e cura. E' una serie su spionaggio, terrorismo, Cia, dovere, onore, famiglia. E' difficile scriverne perchè non voglio dire troppo e soprattutto non voglio fare spolier. Ma ciò che posso dire è che i due attori protagonisti, Claire Danes e Damian Lewis, sono insostitutibili e non è un caso che abbiamo strappato lo scettro a Mad Men agli Emmy di quest'anno. E' appena iniziata la seconda stagione, quindi avete tutto il tempo di vedervi la prima. Vi prometto che non ve ne pentirete.Stefania]

...DOWNTON ABBEY

Do you like Jane Austen? or Jeremy Iron's movies? or simply, costume dramas? If the answer is yes, you must see Downton Abbey! I've written "must" and not "should"...

It's an English tv series set in the Yorkshire, starting from Titanic sinking, that tells the story of the Earl Grantham's family in their prestigious house, Downton Abbey, and also of their servers: love, scandals, dramas but also smiles.

I love the scenes, the majestic viewes, the costumes, the jewels: they are perfect. There is an obsessive attention for details and I appreciate that... a lot! And the script, the dialogues.. and Maggie Smith. I adore Dowager Countess Grantham and her english humour, black and cinycal.

This show has won a lot of awards around the world and I think they are absolutely deserved.

Yesterday night the third season premiere with a new character performed by a myth: Shirley Maclaine. I can't wait to see how this character will change the story.

[Vi piace Jane Austen?o i film di James Ivory?o semplicemente i film in costume? Se la risposta è si,allora dovete vedere Downton Abbey! Notare che ho scritto "dovete" e non "dovreste"... é una serie televisiva inglese ambientata nello Yorkshire che inizia con l'affondamento del Titanic, e racconta la storia della famiglia del Conte Grantham nella loro prestigiosa dimora, Downton Abbey, e anche della loro servitù: amore, scandali, drammi ma anche sorrisi. Amo la scenografia, i magnifici paesaggi, i costumi, i gioielli:sono perfetti.C'è un'ossessiva attenzione per i dettagli e io lo apprezzo moltissimo!E la sceneggiatura, i dialoghi..e Maggie Smith. Adoro la Contessa madre e il suo umorismo inglese, nero e cinico. Questo serie ha vinto munerosi premi in giro per il mondo e penso che siano assolutamente meritati.Ieri sera c'è stata la premiere della terza stagione con un nuovo personaggio interpretato da un mito: Shirley Maclaine. Non vedo l'ora di vedere come questo personaggio cambierà la storia.

Puzzles, feelings and breath

...TOUCH

I've mentioned this tv series before (what we can see during summer) cause I've missed it in the last winter and I wanted to see it, just out of curiosity.

Well, I've watched it and I think it's one of the best of the new tv series inthe last tv season.

There is a kid who doesn't speak and touch anyone but who feels everything, bad things mostly, and he predicts events. His father tries to help him not to feel pain and the only way to do it is following the signs that his son leave to him: numbers.

If you've liked Lost, I think you'll probably like also Touch.

It's an emotional tv series full of puzzles and brain teasers, questions and not enough answers. And the relationship between this kid and his father: the strength and spirit of Martin to move on, to try to fix things for his son Jake. He runs everywhere in every episode to meet people and help them. Kiefer Shuterland is actually always out of breath!

So, my suggestion is to see it, also because soon there will be second season premiere!

[Ho già menzionato queta serie (what we can see during summer) perchè l'avevo persa lo scorso inverno e volevo vederla, almeno per curiosità. Beh, l'ho guardata e penso che è una delle migliori nuove serie della scorsa stagione. Protagonista questo bambino che non parla e non tocca nessuno ma che sente tutto, per lo più cose brutte, e predice gli eventi futuri. Suo padre cerca di aiutarlo a non sentire dolore e l'unico modo per farlo è seguire i segni che suo figlio gli lascia: numeri. Se vi è piaciuto Lost, probabilmente vi piacerà anche Touch. E' una serie emozionante, piena di puzzle e rompicapi, domande e risposte mai sufficienti. E la relazione tra questo bimbo e suo padre: la forza e lo spirito di Martin di andare avanti, di cercare di sistemare gli avvenimenti per suo figlio Jake. Corre ovunque in ogni episodio per incontrare le persone ed aiutarle. Kiefer Shuterland in effetti ha sempre il fiatone! Quindi, il mio suggerimento è di vederla, anche perchè presto ci sarà la premiere della seconda stagione! Stefania]

We haven't talked about Ally McBeal yet, even if it is really deserving and we're certainly going to do it.

In the meantime we would like to remember one of the beautiful musical scenes: we couldn't help but choose a Barry White song and the location is the unisex bathroom of course!

We don't know what to say.

"Friends" is the best sitcom ever and it's very difficult to explain what it means for us. There's no doubt that "Friends" made a difference in the history of television shows.

You can say that it's just a sitcom, but it's too reductive. You can watch an episode even 10 times and you will laugh anyway (we know because we really did it).

Of course 10 seasons are a lot, but "Friends" has teach something to the audience (about friendship and love and making crazy things for both) and also to tv producers (people likes to see young and nice girls and boys that live their lives in an apartment.. how many series took inspiration?!?).

But the best and winning part of this show were the characters: not only one or two, but six perfect main characters! One better than the other.. with their manias, madness, mistakes, fears, feelings and so on. You can prefer Rachel, or Monica, or Phoebe, or Joey, or Chandler, or Ross... but you will love them all.

[Non sappiamo cosa dire. "Friends" è la migliore sitcom di sempre ed è molto difficile spiegare cosa ha significato per noi. Non c'è dubbio che "Friends" ha fatto la differenza nella storia degli show televisivi. Si può dire che è stata solo una sitcom, ma sarebbe troppo riduttivo. Puoi guardare un episodio 10 volte e riderai comunque (lo sappiamo perchè ovviamente l'abbiamo fatto). Certo 10 stagioni sono tante, ma "Friends" ha insegnato qualcosa al pubblico (sull'amicizia e sull'amore e sul fare follie per entrambi) e anche ai produttori televisivi (alla gente piace guardare ragazze e ragazzi giovani e carini che vivono le loro vite in un appartamento...quante serie hanno poi preso ispirazione?!?). Ma la parte migliore e vincente di questo show areno i personaggi: non solo uno o due, ma sei perfetti protagonisti! Uno meglio dell'altro...con le loro manie, follie, errori, paure, sentimenti e altro ancora. Puoi preferire Rachel, o Monica, o Phoebe, o Joey, o Chandler, o Ross...ma li amerai sempre tutti. Barney Stinson: a LEGENDARY character!

Only who sees this tv series can understand what the word "legendary" means for this character, so I suggest you to begin to see this tv show even only to discover Barney and his craziness. He is a "dongiovanni", he have had a lot of women and he doesn't remember not even the 10% of them. He tells to the women many stories about his job, his life, his family: sometimes he is a spaceman, other times he was kidnapped by aliens but in every case he just wants to impress women in order to sleep with them and then to run away as faster as he can.

Until Robin of course. And we love him for his jokes, his bets, his funny stories and his laptop presentations, but also for the friendship that he shows to his friends, even when he loses a bet and then he has to wear a terrible ducks tie.. because he is the kind of guy who always wears an italian suit, he cannot live without it!

[Barney Stinson: un personaggio LEGGENDARIO! 
Solo chi guarda questa serie tv può capire cosa significa la parola "leggendario" per questo personaggio. così vi consiglio di iniziare a vedere questo show televisivo solo per scoprire Barney e la sua follia. E' un dongiovanni,ha avuto una sacco si donne e non ricorda nemmeno  il 10% di loro. Racconta alle donne un sacco di storie sul suo lavoro, la sua vita, la sua famiglia: a volte è un'astronauta, altre è stato rapito dagli alieni,ma in ogni caso vuole solo fare colpo per portarsele a letto e poi scappare più veloce che può. Fino a Robin ovviamente. E lo amiamo per i suoi scherzi, le scommesse, le storielle divertenti e le sue presentazioni al pc, ma anche per l'amicizia che dimostra ai suoi amici, anche quando perde una scommessa e deve indossare una terribile cravatta con le papere...perchè è il tipo d'uomo che indossa solo un completo italiano, non può vivere senza! Just few words to suggest you to see the new tv series by Aroon Sorkin, screenwriter of  "West Wing" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Streep" on tv, and Oscar-winning for the script of "The Social Network" last year.

Only the first episode has been aired, but it's already possible to speak of a great script, quick dialogues and "suspense" in a tv series that wants to show behind the scene of a canal news of USA television. And welcome back to Jeff Daniels as a main character.

[Solo poche parole per suggerirvi di guardare la nuova serie tv di Aroon Sorkin, sceneggiatore di "West Wing" e di "Studio 60 on the Sunset Streep" in tv, e vincitore dell'Oscar per la sceneggiatura di "The Social Network" lo scorso anno. E' andato in onda solo il primo episodio, ma si può già parlare di un'ottima sceneggiatura, dialoghi veloci e "suspense" in una serie tv che vuole mostrare il dietro le quinte di un canale news della tv americana. For who knows this tv show, just 2 words are enough: Sheldon Cooper. One of the best characters in a tv series ever!

I did not laugh so much for a sitcom from "Friends" time. This tv series is brilliant and in my opinion is one of the best ever.

4 nerds on a couch, each one different, with different traits but the same issue: great minds but unable to have social relantionship, especially with women, until one beautiful but a little bit ignorant girl, Penny, relates with them. Infinite jokes and facial expressions better than words. And I liked how the characters have grown in these 5 seasons: Sheldon who discovers sarcasm and starts a "relationship" with Amy Farrah Fowler (one of the best couples I've seen on tv ever); Raj and his being metrosexual; Howard and love; Leonard and his being more confident.

And the characters of their mothers help to understand their childs: my favorite is Howie's mom of course, you never see her but you can listen to her very well!

Sheldon deserves a post apart, that I'm going to write soon, but in the maintime I can say that it's impossible not to love him even if most of the time he is annoying.You always forgive him cause he's different, sometimes it seems like he lives in another universe or he is a child, other times he is an arrogant bastard. And a special thank to Jim Parsons who performs him in an exceptional way.

[Per chi conosce questo show, solo 2 parole: Sheldon Cooper. Uno dei migliori personaggi di una serie tv da sempre!Non ridevo così tanto per una sitcom dai tempi di "Friends".Questa serie tv è brillante e per me una delle migliori di sempre. 4 nerds su un divano,l'uno diverso dall'altro,con diverse caratteristiche ma lo stesso problema: grandi menti incapaci di avere una relzaione sociale, specialmente con le donne, finchè una bellissima ma un po' ignorante ragazza, Penny, inizia a relazionarsi con loro. Battute a non finire ed espressioni facciali migliori delle parole. E mi è piciuto anche come i personaggi sono cresciuti in queste 5 stagioni: Sheldon che scopre il sarcasmo e inizia una "realzione" con Amy Farrah Fowler (una delle migliori coppie mai viste in tv); Raj ed il suo essere metrosexual; Howard e l'amore; Leonard e la maggiore sicurezza in se stesso.E i personaggi delle loro madri aiutano a capire i loro figli: il mio preferito è ovviamente la madre di Howie,non la vedi mai ma la senti molto bene! Sheldon merita una discorso a parte, e presto scriverò un post su di lui, ma nel frattempo posso dire che è impossibile non amarlo anche se per la maggior parte del tempo è fastidioso. Lo perdoni sempre perchè è diverso,a volte sembra viva in un altro universo o sembra un bimbo,mentre altre volte è un arrogante bastardo. E un ringraziamento speciale va a Jim Parsons che lo interpreta in modo eccezionale.Stefania]
